State-Funded Programs

The waiting list for our State Aided Family Housing Program will open on July 19, 2017 and close at 4:00 p.m. on August 2, 2017. The waiting list for State funded housing for senior or disabled people is always open. Federally Funded Programs


The AHA is part of the State Wide Centralized Waiting List for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The waiting list is open until further notice. Income limits are as follows:
  • 1 Person: $31,350
  • 2 People: $35,800
  • 3 People: $40,300
  • 4 People: $44,750
  • 5 People: $48,350
  • 6 People: $51,950
  • 7 People: $55,500
  • 8 People: $59,100
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program payment standards (all utilities included) are as follows effective Immediately for New Lease Ups and Effective January 1, 2018 for Annual Reexamination:
  • Efficiency Unit: $890
  • 1 Bedroom: $1,024
  • 2 Bedrooms: $1,300
  • 3 Bedrooms: $1,600
  • 4 Bedrooms: $1,650
